Offshore Medics at Roxa Drilling Company Offshore medics provides emergency medical care for all personnel's along with other various occupational health tasks, responsible for the provision of the rig primary first aid response. The Rig Medic reports directly to the Captain and Chief Officer in charge of rigging activities about the health status of personnel's and ensure that ill personnel's do not proceed to work until confirmed medically stable. Operate and maintain the rig hospital, medical supplies and medical equipment. Ensure that all hospital and emergency medical equipment is serviceable and rectify any deficiencies. Ensure the hospital and related areas are clean. He gives advise to the rig Departmental Supervisors of injuries or sicknesses that involve their respective departments. Job Task He monitor all aspects of health and hygiene in the rig catering facilities as well as freezer and refrigeration food storage hygiene and temperatures Perform regular testing of potable water supplies for quality delivery to personnel's. Perform regular inspection and servicing of rig eye wash stations and first aid kits as well as maintain on board personnel database as required with respect to health issues and status. Assist Rig Safety Officer with respect to all related safety functions and activities Rig Doctors/Nurses and Pharmacist Qualifications a valid medical license issued by the holder’s national or state governing medical licensing board acceptable to any Maritime authority. All certificate that certifies the candidate as a medical doctor is required All Certificate that certifies the candidate as a Senior Nurse is also required All Certificate that certifies the candidate as a Pharmacist is required Application Control: This position is opened for only medical doctors, Senior Nurses and Pharmacist with at least 4 years experience in the medical field. For candidates who have no offshore medical experience, must be willing to face offshore challenges. This position is opened for only medical doctors, Senior Nurses, Pharmacist who have attempted offshore services or willing to work offshore.
