Water Resources Expert SGI is looking for a Water Resources Expert for an important assignment in the field of water resources planning/management and land use in Iraq. This assignment implies the expert’s long-term presence in the project area (at least a year). Therefore, the applicant should be available to spend most of the assigned man-months in Iraq. The applicant’s security will be under SGI’s responsibility. The applicant shall have University degree in engineering, preferably related to hydraulics and water engineering, minimum of 10 years experience in the water sector, minimum of 5 years experience in the water resources master planning, Team Leader experience in engineering projects in the fields of water resources management, water supply and sanitation, hydraulics and environmental management. The applicant is expected to have a vast experience in development of water resources management plans, master plans, feasibility studies and designs. He/she shall be proficient in English language. Knowledge of Arabic will be considered an asset. He/she shall have good interpersonal and written communication skills and full computer proficiency.
