POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides technical support and training to customers and users worldwide with a focus on system readiness. Support includes technical assistance, advice, formal and informal operator and maintenance training, technical data collection and reporting. Serves as a Subject Matter Expert on vehicles and systems. Acts as the primary point of contact for problem identification and accident investigations. Provides technical assistance during testing, troubleshooting, repairing, de-processing, storing and assistance in shipping vehicles and their respective components during transition, and associated training support. Training consists of system operation, assembly and subassembly troubleshooting, component and system fault isolation and repair. Must be able to interpret and use all types of engineering drawings and schematics. Familiar with the use and operation of Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE). Technically proficient in vehicle operation, maintenance and support. Experience in the mechanical/electronic field of military tracked vehicles or heavy equipment; technical knowledge depth must be first through fourth level of maintenance repair. Ability to develop and present formal and informal training. Analytical ability sufficient to independently diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
Associate degree and 3 years related experience or a minimum of 5 years appropriate industry experience in field required. U.S. Department of Education accredited high school diploma or equivalent required. In lieu of a U.S. Department of Education accredited high school diploma or equivalent, acceptable Work Keys score is required along with the below experience.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3-5 years documented work experience as a senior vehicle mechanic or senior technician or maintenance supervisor on the company's product line or other military vehicles or heavy equipment. Ideally suited for U.S. Army MOS 63A, 63B, 63E, 63M, 63S, 63T, 63W or 63Z or Warrant Officer 915 Series.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employee must successfully complete pre-deployment medical and dental examinations and obtain necessary immunizations if the position requires relocation overseas.

CULTURAL:
The employee must, within the Arab cultural norms, customs and sensitivities, be able to directly interact on a daily basis with Iraqi nationals; military and civilian. CENTAF General Order #001 applies.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
Describe any specialized knowledge or skill (e.g., technical, scientific, administrative, managerial), which your position requires.
Must be formally trained in diesel or heavy equipment maintenance. Training or experience in basic electronics and hydraulics is required. Must demonstrate skill in troubleshooting, repair, and use of computerized or automated test equipment. Must be computer literate and capable of creating formal reports, emails, and briefings. Should be familiar with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Power Point). Must possess or qualify for a DoD SECRET security clearance. Commercial Driver’s License and EPA 609 Automotive Air Conditioning Repair Certification required. Welding Certification, Instructor Certification, ASE Certifications and relevant military experience preferred.

Work location is in Iraq or Afghanistan. Applicant must relocate.

Danger Pay and Area Differential Pay apply.

Contract period is expected to be 12 months.

Must be able to work weekends, overtime, holidays, and any shift if required.

Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Supports the Force Protection Industries overall aim and ILS Systems aim.
