VAS Engineer - SMSc in Erbil Summary: A global telecom infrastructure provider requires an experienced Engineer with strong hands-on experience in SMSc integration and support.The position exists due to the high demand of their client in Erbil to support their telecom applications. Detailed Description: You will provide technical support and perform integration/implementation of business critical mobile telecom products into the mobile operator's network in Iraq. Reporting to the Project Manager, you would be required to support the live operation of deployed systems and ensure that the service delivered to subscribers meets the required SLA. You will provide technical guidance in the deployment of project plans, configure products on high availability servers and integrate platforms into the customer's network. In addition, you will provide on-going support services for the solutions implemented on products during trials and commercial go-live. To qualify, the ideal candidate must have a degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering or in a similar discipline, with a minimum of 6 years of experience within the IT/GSM industry. You must also have extensive experience in SMSc, HP & Cisco hardware, Texas Memory Systems, Linux Clustering and Cisco IOS configuration. Key skills: SMSc, Unix, Open VMS,Billing System
