Iraq Recruiting Specialist

REPORTING TO: Recruiting Manager

RESPONSIBILTIES:
The Iraq Recruiting Specialist is responsible for all aspects of recruiting, hiring, and on-boarding of local national employees.

JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:

Screen resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
Performs details reference checks on qualified candidates
Schedule and conduct in depth interviews of candidates and recommends potential hires
Develops and maintains strong working relationship with recruiting companies when applicable
Responsible for the processing of all Iraqi new hires or rehires and corresponding with them to get the necessary documents and arrange their arrival to the site.
Medicals, Police Clearance Letter/Background Checks
Responsible to ensure the new hires make their arrival deadline
Update the sites appropriately and send the required information for the processing on site.
Conduct new hire orientation, contract signing, and all necessary paperwork upon arrival of the new Iraq National employees
Create all New Employee files
Responsible to maintain the recruitment shared folder with the following:
Recruitment update, all processing documents, personnel request forms
Develop and implement recruitment strategies and marketing
Maintain resume database and develop pool of qualified candidates in advance
Submit and update online and newspaper job postings
Understands the various roles and position within the plant and LSA
Required to travel to different site on an as need bases
Interpreter when necessary
Other recruiting and HR duties as assigned
Assist with other projects as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Education
University Degree in Human Resources or Business Management
Experience and Skills
3-5 years of recruiting and related experience
Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of full-cycle recruiting
Extremely proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) required
Demonstrate decision making skills, effective and tactful written and verbal communication
Experience working with other nationalities
Orientation
Extremely organized and reliable
Maintain a high level of confidentiality, flexibility and responsiveness
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrates highest moral and ethical standards
Strong communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills
