SharePoint Engineer SCOPE U.S. Citizenship required - The Command & Control Systems (C2S) Group is seeking an experienced SharePoint Engineer to support the existing Multi National Forces-Iraq (MNF-I) Headquarters in Iraq. The SharePoint Engineer’s primary responsibilities include design, implementation, documentation, and troubleshooting for SharePoint Services and Portal, as well as responsibility for technical management of advance networking hardware and network services support to end user operational personnel; provide group design and product recommendations and configurations; trouble shoot and resolve client business network problems through research, network installation and customization; network administration and network management in support of SharePoint services and portals; applications development, website development and maintenance, and MS SharePoint portal administration. RESPONSIBILITIES • Maintain the MNF-I and CIS SharePoint Portals on three networks • Perform administrative activities such as site creation, permission management, backup/restore and monitoring of server farms • Perform maintenance activities such as installations and upgrades • Troubleshoot SharePoint application issues • Analyze and help maintain data integrity, reliability, and security • Automation/Report monitoring within the SharePoint environment • Participate in system migration and integration projects • Perform site modifications using SharePoint Designer • Work with end users to build portals and sites • Understand and complete necessary documentation for the application/infrastructure change control process • Other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Valid U.S. Passport • Interim SECRET clearance or higher required • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience • At least three years experience with SharePoint portal administration • At least three years administration experience with SQL Database’s • Experience using Microsoft Active Directory • Microsoft MCP or MCSA certification • Must meet overseas medical deployment qualifications DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Excellent customer service skills and demeanor even in difficult situations • Demonstrated self-starter and ability to independently resolve problems • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with short timelines • Ability to maintain high quality work on multiple critical projects • Ability to perform and participate in a team-oriented environment • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of customers • Knowledge of current IT infrastructure and SharePoint, Messaging and Directory Services trends • Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems • Strong knowledge of Exchange and Active Directory • Good understanding of network security and management frameworks.
