| Enterprise Operations PKI Engineer SCOPE U.S. Citizenship required - The Command & Control Systems (C2S) Group is seeking an experienced PKI Engineer to build, deploy and administer PKI servers and architecture in support of the United States Forces-Iraq (USF-I) Headquarters in Iraq. JOB DESCRIPTION The Engineer will provide technical expertise, direct technical support, guidance and recommendations to design, deploy and sustain solutions for the implementation of the enterprise Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Identity Management (IM) program. Work assignments include providing Information Technology (IT) design, development, engineering, integration, implementation, sustainment, and technical services to support the USF-I PKI management organization. The Engineer will perform system engineering and implementation, custom code development, configuration management, quality assurance/system evaluation, testing, training, installation, documentation, security certification, and system deployment for both unclassified and secure networks. Serve as focal point for active policy collection, maintenance and distribution, and provide advice on compliance with applicable IA-related directives and guidance. The Engineer must be able to install new hardware for the entire system in compliance with DITSCAP requirements, migrate new hardware/systems into current architecture, and update all security documentations. The primary interface is to provide engineering and systems expertise to engineering teams to ensure technical solutions are capable of supporting mission requirements. The Engineer also provides guidance, training and consultation to other support teams by providing information related to PDI System Architecture and capabilities, stays abreast of industry developments and best practices and recommends improvements to integrate with existing methods and tools as appropriate, coordinates requirements and requests for assistance with commercial vendors e.g., ISPs, equipment vendors, and contractors, and maintains server hardware and software to include security scans and lockdowns, system patches, and software updates. Provides technical advice and support to other help desk and system administration personnel. Develops technical policies to further specify and enforce enterprise directives and guidance and provides hands-on technical leadership in design and deployment of systems. The PKI Engineer is responsible for additional duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Must have a minimum of 4-6 years equivalent experience, with at least 2 years specific experience with PKI operating system • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) • Must be a US citizen • Must able to obtain a US SECRET security clearance • Must meet overseas medical deployment qualifications DESIRED SKILLS • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with short timelines • Ability to maintain a professional and courteous manner in difficult situations • Ability to maintain high-quality work to manage multiple critical projects • Ability to perform and participate in a team-oriented environment • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of users • Excellent customer service skills and demeanor EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS A minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical experience is required.
