| Phoenix Base Logistician SCOPE U.S. Citizenship required - The Logistician’s primary responsibilities include the logistics management, operations, and inventory control of U.S. government equipment to include storage, issue, accountability and preservation in support of the USF-I enterprise network. RESPONSIBILITIES Direct operational responsibility to: • Coordinate logistical activities with various military and civilian organizations to ensure proper adherence to shipping and receiving policies/regulations • Coordinate shipments to/from the International Zone, including coordination with transportation offices, documentation, packing, loading and shipping • Manage material receipt, unloading, inspection, storage and documentation • Coordinate accountability of all equipment under MNSTC-I J6 purview • Manage property accountability and hand receipts • Participate in the receipt and issuance of equipment to J6 and outside organizations • Conduct periodic audits of hand receipts • Ensure the Logistics database is kept up to date and accurate • Coordinate work, service and transportation requests • Organize logistics operations according to schedules set by the planning department and clients’ needs; • Ensure all logistics records and documentation is current and accurate • Determine supply requirements for ASL, PLL and Bench Stock items and initiate re-order process for appropriate items • Other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Valid U.S. Passport • Active SECRET Security Clearance • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent (4 years directly related experience may substitute for degree). • 3 years experience working as a logistician or in military operations • Ability to travel extensively to hazardous duty areas overseas • Applicant must hold or be eligible for a US Secret security clearance (Active Clearance preferred) • Will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information • Must be a U.S. citizen. • Must meet overseas medical deployment qualifications DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Three years experience working with the military logistics regulations and systems • Strong working knowledge in the use of Excel and MS Access database applications • Excellent customer service skills and demeanor • Demonstrated self-starter and demonstrated ability to independently resolve problems • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with short timelines • Ability to maintain a professional and courteous manner in difficult situations • Ability to maintain high-quality work while working on multiple projects • Ability to perform and participate in a team-oriented environment • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of users • IT background Pelatron is an Equal Opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, or Vietnam era, or other eligible veteran status, or any other protected factor. | |
