| Logistician SCOPE U.S. Citizenship required - The Logistician’s primary responsibilities include the logistics management, operations, and inventory control of U.S. government equipment to include storage, issue, accountability, CCI equipment Security storage and preservation. Responsible for Logistics Management in support of the Communication Support Operations for CJ6 United States Forces (USF-I), Baghdad, Iraq RESPONSIBILITIES • Manage the procurement and property control of multi-million dollar bill of materials (BOM’s) purchased to support the numerous communications and construction projects within Iraq. • Quality control points and management procedures for database accuracy, inventory accuracy, originating and enforcing business practices and subsequently maintaining/revising USF-I CSO standard operating procedures (SOP’s) as it pertains to the logistics areas of responsibility. • Validation of all property management; including assisting the Property Book Hand Receipt Holder in accomplishing audits, inventories and monthly maintenance of Theatre Property Book materials. • Liaison with KBR for vehicle badging, fuel cards/stickers, accident reports and investigations, repair and maintenance, as well as working with KBR for facility work requests and service requests, including strategic planning issues to facilities and assigned spaces. • Handle material acceptance (both for stock and project issue) and turn-in, to inventory or for turnover. This includes serviceable, unserviceable, excess and disposal materials. • Document, organize and manage: warehousing, shelving, identification and management processes to meet and accomplish accurate inventory controls and business practices. • Executes all processing functions associated with materials received into CSO inventory. This includes shipment acknowledgements, document processing and integration • Executes all processing functions associated with materials received into CSO inventory. This includes shipment acknowledgments, document processing and integration into the inventory/stowage system • Handle delegated tasks assigned by the Logistics supervisor, ARTS data clerk and others within the Logistics Team. Maintain spreadsheet tracking of Inbound Material Advisories, process receipt documents (FEDEX, DHL, Other source shippers) and relay copies of same to ARTS. • Qualify and maintain credentials as overseas mail-handler. Comply with all regulations regarding services to assigned staff. Handle all outgoing postal and FEDEX packages. • Retain required records and spreadsheets to substantiate mail and provide activity reporting as required. Maintain Unit Mail List and repository of information for personnel departing • Maintain ARTS database, produce reports from the database, reconcile input documents, process cache documents to portal/P-drive, process required accountable documentation, constantly review and recommend enhancements to business practices associated with inventory and property control methodology. • Handles all aspects of material management from life-cycle, unserviceable and excess sources through the stowage, organizing, inventory management, packaging and transfer process for DRMO acceptance. • Coordinates all support efforts towards that end to include HAZMAT, CCCI Interface - using assigned assets of the military assigned unit and their DODAAC, as well as IA assets and CMS custodial agents. • Other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Valid U.S. Passport • Active SECRET Security Clearance • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent • At least 5 years experience working as a logistician or in military operations • Must meet overseas medical deployment qualifications DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum of Five years experience working with the military logistics regulations and systems • Strong working knowledge in the use of Excel and MS Access database applications • Excellent communication and customer service skills and demeanor • Demonstrated self-starter and ability to independently resolve problems • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with short timelines • Ability to maintain a professional and courteous manner in difficult situations • Ability to maintain high-quality work to manage multiple critical projects • Ability to perform and participate in a team-oriented environment • Able to lift at least 50lbs Pelatron is an Equal Opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, or Vietnam era, or other eligible veteran status, or any other protected factor. | |
