International Zone (IZ) Program Manager SCOPE U.S. Citizenship required - This individual will serve as an in-country Program Manager (PM) for the Multi-National Forces Iraq (MNF-I) program. This position is primarily billeted at and works from the Green Zone, Iraq but has contract responsibilities for work and employees on Forward Operating Bases (FOB) of the US Army and US Marine Corps. Travel throughout the theater of operations will be necessary and expected of the PM. RESPONSIBILITIES This is a fast paced, challenging assignment, that requires a motivated, team oriented leader who is able to work successfully with the military, government civilians and Department of State (DoS) personnel. The PM will be required to lead a team of diverse technical professions. The individual should have experience managing multiple projects at a time, to include assignment of personnel, developing project timelines, risk management and developing project management plans. The person must have the ability to develop, review and approve plans, schedules, and other technical documentation. The PM will serve as a liaison with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems. The PM must ensure compliance with corporate and customer policies and standards. The PM will be required to provide daily and weekly reports and briefings to customer. Individual will provide consultation on complex projects, and will be considered to be one of the top level contributors. The individual will be responsible for planning and guiding strategic and long range goals. Person will rely heavily on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • The individual should have experience in managing numerous projects simultaneously, to include: ○ Assignment of personnel ○ Developing project timelines and prioritization ○ Risk management ○ Developing project management plans. • Provide qualified replacement personnel for the contract. • Ensure the health and welfare of the employees. • Implement and ensure compliance of all of applicable policies and procedures. • Experience creating and presenting briefs for customers and senior management. • Demonstrated ability to manage and successfully complete multiple tasks. • Demonstrated personnel management skills such as scheduling, supervising and evaluating staff.. • Experience working with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems. • Ability to ensure compliance with corporate and customer policies and standards. • Ability to maintain necessary documentation. • Existing Secret Clearance required • Knowledge of MS Project (working with Gantt charts, etc.) and office tools. • Must meet overseas medical deployment qualifications DESIRED SKILLS • Previous military experience strongly desired. • Technical experience in development and support of command and control systems/facilities. • Ability to identify and improve management processes. • Ability to identify business opportunities. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with short timelines • Ability to maintain a professional and courteous manner in difficult situations • Ability to maintain high quality work to manage multiple critical projects • Ability to perform and participate in a team-oriented environment • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of users • Excellent customer service skills and demeanor REQUIRED EDUCATION Minimum Degree: B.S.
