Information Assurance Certification & Accreditation Engineer SCOPE U.S. Citizenship required - The Command & Control Systems (C2S) Group is seeking an experienced Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Engineer to support the existing United States Forces-Iraq (USF-I). This position will require the candidate to work at numerous US military camps throughout the Iraqi theater. RESPONSIBILITIES The candidate must be experienced and fully versed with all phases of enterprise DIACAP/DITSCAP activities - including generation and analysis of C&A Packages, preparation of requirements traceability matrices, development and execution of CL III ST&E plans and procedures, and risk analysis. Will be responsible for other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Valid U.S. Passport • Interim SECRET clearance or higher required • Experience with briefing senior military leadership on risk status for C&A projects, both verbally and written presentation formats. • A complete understanding of Mission Assurance Categories and military sensitivity labeling. • Must be very familiar with a variety of military regulations regarding Information Assurance, particularly the following: ○ DoD 8500.2 ○ DoD 8510.01 ○ CCR 25-206 ○ AR 25-2 ○ AR 380-5 ○ AFI 33-202. • A working knowledge of DCID 6/3. • Must have experience with the DISA Data, Voice and VTC Connection Approval Process (CAP). • Working knowledge of Cross Domain Solutions and the process by which to certify and accredit same. • Familiarity with Unix, Windows 2003 Server , Windows 2000 Server, Windows XP, Sun, and Linux operating systems. • Familiarity with both Local Area Networking and Wide Area Networking components. • At least 8 years documented experience with DITSCAP/DIACAP. • Willingness to travel to hazardous areas is a key component of this position, as the services required will be performed throughout Iraq, with regular travel to remote military sites. • Prior appointment as an organizational Certification Authority (CA) is preferable. • Prior experience in a Joint Military Environment or CENTCOM environment is required. • Meet overseas medical deployment qualifications CERTIFICATIONS: • CISSP • MCSE or MCP Windows 2003 server and MCP Windows XP • CCNA or Net+ DESIRED SKILLS • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with short timelines • Ability to maintain a professional and courteous manner in difficult situations • Ability to maintain high-quality work to manage multiple critical projects • Ability to perform and participate in a team-oriented environment • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of users • Excellent customer service skills and demeanor Pelatron is an Equal Opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, or Vietnam era, or other eligible veteran status, or any other protected factor.
