Senior Warehouseman needed Interest Category : Logistics/ Supply External Job Title : Senior Warehouseman (SAA) Position Type : Full-time Country : Iraq State : Iraq Province City : Various Locations Minimum Requirements : The Senior Warehouseman provides logistical support to all customers and employees assigned to the SSA. The scope of this responsibility includes the proper receipt, storage, and issue of all project material and the control of project furnished small tools and third party rentals. The Senior Warehouseman is responsible for executing, administering, and completing tasks, missions, and duties put forth by his/her management, by leading the team and personnel as needed. The Senior Warehouseman will assist with training of new personnel/SCW and mentor/advise as needed. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of six months actual hands-on, documented supply experience. They will possess knowledge of Military supply systems and programs preferred. The candidate should be able to communicate, assess and attenuate work related discrepancies brought by employees or the military. This person must have a valid driver’s license at minimum. A high school diploma or GED is required. Job Description : • Must ensure all customers verification lists and any special issue documents are filed using proper filing systems. • Must understand pallet construction and deconstruction procedures • Must understand the procedures of research using the command SARSS action line. • Must be knowledgeable in the use of FEDLOG research. • Must be knowledgeable of AR710-2-1, AR710-2-2, DA PAM725 and all internal and external SOP’s • Must be knowledgeable of proper HAZMAT material handling procedures. • Must be knowledgeable of shipping and receiving procedures. • Must be knowledgeable of proper packaging, boxed, palletized, containerized, banding, labeled and other required shipping lost documentation. • Operate MHE as assigned and holds appropriate license. • Knowledgeable of proper inventory procedures. • Must be knowledgeable of proper safety procedures in general as well as in a warehouse environment. • Coach and mentor other warehouseman • Assist the foreman with assessment of operation issues • Administer mission objectives and quality of work.
