| QA/QC Foreman (Wheel, Track, GSE) needed Interest Category : Operations/ Maintenance External Job Title : QA/QC Foreman (Wheel, Track, GSE) Position Type : Full-time Country : Iraq State : Iraq Province City : Various Locations Minimum Requirements : The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years specific experience in Wheel, Track, and GSE maintenance operations, QA related areas that include equipment and ECOD inspection. Prefer candidates have, two or more years of supervisory experience/ minimum of one year. Candidate must be proficient in the use of STAMIS systems for maintenance management, to include FEDLOG, ILAP, Parts Tracker, etc. A high school diploma or GED is required and two plus years of college or technical school is highly desirable. Experience may be substituted for education at the rate of one year of specific experience for one year of high school or college. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Power Point. Job Description : The Quality Control Foreman is a subject matter expert in quality assurance, and quality control. The position is responsible for ensuring that the QA/QC Inspectors assigned at the site level are performing equipment inspections that meet, or exceed the standards set in the applicable technical manuals (TM’s). The QA Foreman is responsible for supervising the inspectors at the site, and reports directly to the highest level of supervision assigned to the site, and receives daily workload from the DS Maintenance Manager. • Ensures the inspection team has a thorough knowledge of the ECOD process. • Ensures the inspectors identify all equipment faults (deficiencies/short comings) and records on the maintenance work sheet (2404/5988) with all required repair parts listed on the maintenance request (2404/5988/2407). • Ensures all Work Acceptance Performance Standards are met IAW the Statement of Work (SOW). • May be required to diagnose and troubleshoot as needed to support complex maintenance actions. • To have a working knowledge of Components of end items (COEI) “i.e. rigging equipment, snatch blocks, spare tires, loading ramps, chock blocks, and canvas covers”. • Perform training that educates subordinate inspectors in the use of the AR 750-1, and DA Pam 738-750. • Perform in progress and final inspection of maintenance performed to ensure all quality standards have been met, when needed to. • Works in conjunction with shop office personnel to ensure the statuses of equipment are updated, maintains a complete understanding of the 06/022 prints. • Inspect for proper use of tools, incorrect repair and adjustment procedures, and the proper use of publications. • Submits daily, weekly, monthly reports as required. Is directly responsible for conducting performance evaluations on members of the inspection team. • Ensures that final inspections performed on all work ordered equipment will use the applicable TM, PMCS criteria and safety standards in AR 385-55. • Interface daily with the Senior Maintenance Supervisor to keep higher-level management personnel informed of all mission-related requirements/progress and to receive directives as needed. • Quality POC for all completed/accepted job orders. • Performs ECOD inspections as required. • Provide guidance to the inspection activity in the prioritization of work assignments. • Reporting quality data or problems to maintenance management. | |
