We are searching for a Project Manager to join an international firm with contracts in Iraq in the framework of the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) where we work side by side with members of the US Armed Forces in Iraq to manage engineering and construction activities in Bagdad, Iraq.

Job Description : OFFERS CONTINGENT UPON FINAL AWARD OF TASK ORDER

Will perform a variety of tasks in the field of engineering.

Responsible for executing construction improvements of infrastructure projects.

Work from a general statement of work from the client to help identify and manage needs, analyze budgets, project schedules, and to successfully direct a team of engineers and technical staff to execute construction projects.

Will interface with client to report on project progress and to address client questions and concerns.

Will direct engineering reports and/or review such reports prepared by others. May be required to write daily/weekly/biweekly/monthly project reports on the progress of his/her projects as well as providing photographs to the Public Affairs Officer for Berger/URS JV.

Actively participates as a member of the project delivery team, which may include a wide variety of stakeholders, the US Army Corps of Engineers, Iraqi Ministers and contractors to resolve complex technical issues.

Must possess outstanding interpersonal and communications skills and work well in high stress, hostile environments.

Work will take place primarily at the GRS offices in Iraq.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements :
MUST BE ABLE TO DEPLOY WITHIN 2 TO 4 WEEKS OF RECEIPT OF OFFER, ASSIGNMENT LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT IRAQ

-Bachelors degree in engineering or construction management or related field.

-Minimum 2 years experience in as a project manager for infrastructure construction projects.

-Ability to perform effectively as a Project Manager in Iraqi reconstruction environment. Projects may include, but not limited to, construction of schools, hospitals, prisons, water treatment plants, power plants or other infrastructure type work.

-Experience working with a team, undertaking and successfully completing such assignments with moderate supervision.

-Proficient in use of MS Office Suite and project management software.

-Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with program managers, contractors, and client.

-Must be able to obtain a valid drivers license and passport.

-Willingness to live and work in harsh conditions.
