HVAC Foreman needed in Iraq We are searching for HVAC foremen to join an international firm with contracts in Iraq in the framework of the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) where we work side by side with members of the US Armed Forces in Iraq to perform a full range of duties in the performance of equipment inspection and repair operations. He/she ensures equipment received is IAW applicable technical manuals and publications as well as interface with military counterpart at DS/BMO offices to schedule requested maintenance and assign workload. The Foreman ensures assigned personnel are not moved between work sites without direction from Maintenance Supervisor and approval from LSI PMO as directed by Theater ACO. He/she administers LSI policies as directed by PMO and HR office to include performance evaluations, counseling, leave scheduling and time accounting. The Forman is responsible for implementing and maintaining the shop safety program as well as providing daily work assignments to other maintenance personnel assigned to work center. The HVAC Foreman reports to Maintenance Supervisor of the assigned location. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years general experience with a minimum of three years specific experience HVAC repair and maintenance operations, supervision, inspection, QA or related areas. Background in automotive maintenance is desired. A high school diploma or GED is required and two plus years of college or technical school is highly desirable. Experience may be substituted for education at the rate of one year of specific experience for one year of high school or college. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Power Point. The positions include a competitive benefits package starting the first day of hire.
