| Chief Technical Officer Chief Technical Officer is an active member of the technical department. He will establish, organize and direct the successful operation of a mobile telecommunications network. He carries the responsibility for the smooth running of operations and activities and responsible for maximising the profitability of the project. In summary, jointly with the members of the Management Committee, he will develop a Technology strategy which should allow ITISALUNA to have, at all times, the adequate scope of people in terms of both quality and quantity in an overall efficient and customer oriented organisation. • Understand and contribute to the management’s commercial plans and objectives • Advise the management on the best technical solutions and available products • Represent the company in technical discussions with the clients as well as contractors • Engage in discussions with the contractors during the bidding stage to ensure company’s objectives are met. • Responsible to the management for the design and performance of the network from the technical point of view • Assist field staff and contractors with technical solutions • Approve contractor’s network design, design drawings and integration plan • Approve contractor’s installation instructions and field drawings and acceptance test documents • Approve test reports and operational procedures before the network is carrying traffic • Identify key obstacles to the management • Assist contractors in integration activities with incumbent operators • Work with local staff inside Iraq to identify the requirement for integration with ITPC and GSM operators • Advise the Chief of Operations and the contractors on the training syllabus for technical staff • 15-25 years of experience in Senior Network operations management positions from a mobile, fixed or IS/IT background | |
