| Fuel & Electrical System Repairer Salary: $86,000 income potential with competitive benefits package. Key Responsibilities: Prepares and services vehicles for operation by troubleshooting the complete fuel systems, (i.e.; injectors, pumps, filtration systems on various types of military equipment). Must be able to rebuild, starters of all sizes, alternators 12, 24, and dual voltage. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Must have thorough knowledge of Army technical publications related to vehicle maintenance. Required Skills: Qualifications & Competencies: This is a position with a physical rating of heavy. Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience as a Fuel & Electrical repairer. Should have experience in 63 Series MOS or equivalent. Must be able to perform direct support maintenance on fuel and electrical systems of wheel and track vehicles, brake system components, and on internal combustion engines associated with power generation equipment or material handling equipment. Must have a U.S. passport. Must be able to pass a physical exam due to the harsh living and working conditions. Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen. This is a one (1) year assignment. You should expect to work 12 hours days, 7 days a week. Living and Working Conditions: Extreme danger, stress, physical hardships and possible field living conditions associated with this position within a desert camp complex. Ability to function during an extended assignment at a foreign, in-country facility exposed to seasonal temperature extremes. Ability to cope with shared cafeteria, bath and sleeping quarters. Must be able to walk, kneel, bend and stoop, and have correctable vision. Employee will be supervised by the Site Manager or senior Human Resources personnel.
